A quick start guide and clear explanations of the most important protection modules.
Installation
- In your WordPress dashboard, open Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and select the Activity Guard ZIP file.
- Activate the plugin.
- Open the Activity Guard settings and review the notification email address and the required protection modules.
Set up the Authenticator
Open “My Authenticator”, scan the locally generated QR code with a compatible TOTP application and confirm the setup using the current six-digit security code.
Review the Activity Log
Filter recorded events by severity or event type. Select “View” to inspect the context, request information and technical details associated with an event.
WAF and login protection
Enable the checks required for your website. Configure the permitted login attempts, monitoring period and blocking duration according to the way your website is used.
Alerts, file scanning and retention
Enter the email address used for security alerts, choose a suitable alert cooldown and configure the file-scanning interval and log-retention period according to your operational requirements.
